China to US or Australia duty check
Type the HS code. Pick the United States or Australia. The result is only what the files on this site actually store. Read the US stack or the Australia stack before you treat one rate as the whole answer.
Frequently asked
Why is there no Section 301 percent?
Section 301 is an extra US duty on many goods made in China. The rate depends on the exact 10-digit code and on the current USTR list. This site stores the USITC base rate for chemical chapters 28 to 39. It does not store the Section 301 rate. Open the code on hts.usitc.gov before you price the shipment.
Is duty from China into Australia zero?
Not automatically. ChAFTA removed duty on most Chinese goods only when the goods qualify as originating and you hold the certificate of origin. The tariff row in this tool is the general rate on file, which is often a note to check the ABF working tariff rather than a number. GST on a taxable importation is 10 percent of the customs value plus duty plus international transport and insurance.
What about the China export rebate?
The China file on this site can find an HS description. It does not store the current rebate percent. That rate is on chinatax.gov.cn.
