Public lookup

Two reads are public. Each one returns fields stored in a file on this site. Neither one adds a duty total. Neither one stores a ChAFTA percent. A CAS miss is not a clearance.

Duty line

Send the code digits and us or au. If more than one general rate is stored, none is chosen. Section 301 percent is not stored on the chemical line.

CAS flag

Send one CAS number. The reply says whether that exact string is in the TSCA public CAS table, the AICIS snapshot, the REACH Candidate List, or REACH Annex XIV. The file dates are in the reply. A listing is not a compliance finding.

Tools for other software

Post JSON to /api/mcp. The methods are initialize, tools/list, and tools/call. The tool names are lookup_duty and check_cas. If the request names a protocol version, the reply uses that same version. If it does not, the reply uses 2025-11-25, the specification page read for this endpoint. No key is required.
