Put the base duty and the CBP fees on one quote

Paste an HS code and an entered value. The report shows the Column 1 general rate the chemical extract stores, any China case whose heading starts that code, and the formal-entry fees. It does not invent the rest of the stack.

On citric acid, HTS 2918.14.00.00, the 25 September 2026 extract stores a general rate of 6%. On $10,000.00 that is $600.00 of Column 1 duty. The same value, as one formal entry with ocean ticked, is a merchandise processing fee of $34.64 and a harbor maintenance fee of $12.50. Those three figures add to $647.14. That sum is not a China duty total. The file stores cases A-570-937 and C-570-938 on heading 2918 and stores no cash-deposit percent, so nothing from those cases is in the sum. Section 301 is not in the extract, so it is not in the sum either.

The duty lines alone are on the China duty list. The fees alone are on the CBP entry fee quote.

The first line runs free. Pro runs up to 50 and copies the report.

First column is the HS code. A second column can be the entered value, written as 10000.00 or $10,000.00. A header with no code is skipped. Files over 1 MB are refused. Subscribe to run the longer file and copy the report.

What is priced, and what is left off

Column 1 general duty is priced only when the matched line in the 25 September 2026 USITC extract stores Free or a plain percent. The extract is chapters 28 to 39, updated_at 2026-09-25T11:27:06.251Z, from hts.usitc.gov exportList. A blank stays blank. A compound rate such as cents per kilogram plus a percent is not turned into dollars. The other column is not used as the China rate. A special-rate program is not applied. Additional duties in this extract are blank, and a Chapter 99 footnote is not priced. Section 301 stays on the USTR Section 301 page.

A case name appears when a 4-digit heading stored on a China row in the 16 May 2026 file starts the code. The file has 154 China rows and duty_rate_percent is null on every row. Heading 2918 is stored on A-570-937 and C-570-938, citric acid and certain citrate salts. A heading hit is not a scope ruling. Confirm the order and the cash deposit on ACCESS.

The fees are the formal-entry schedule for fiscal year 2026. The merchandise processing fee is 0.3464 percent of the entered value, at least $33.58 and at most $651.50, applied once to the sum. The harbor maintenance fee is 0.125 percent, once, and only if you tick ocean. A manual entry adds $4.03 once. Sources: CBP Decision 25-10, the CBP user fee table, and the 26 November 2025 harbor maintenance fee notice. Some entry types are not charged the merchandise processing fee. That exemption list is not stored here. This page does not decide whether a port is designated, and it does not price an informal entry.

The harbor fraction stored for the math is 125/100000, which is 0.125 percent. The merchandise processing fee fraction is 3464/1000000, which is 0.3464 percent, then held between $33.58 and $651.50.

Frequently asked

Is the bottom line the China duty?

No. The bottom line adds Column 1 general duty, only where the chemical extract stores Free or a plain percent, to the fiscal year 2026 formal-entry fees. Section 301 is not in the file, so it is not added. A cash-deposit percent is not in the anti-dumping file, so it is not added. A compound rate is not turned into dollars.

Why is the merchandise processing fee charged once?

On a formal entry the merchandise processing fee is one fee for the entry, not one fee per line. This page adds the entered values and applies 0.3464 percent once, held between $33.58 and $651.50. It does that only when every line in the run has a value. It does not decide whether your entry is formal, and it does not price an informal entry.

What do I get before I pay?

One line is free, so you can read the report before you pay. Paid plans start at USD 59 a month and run up to 50 lines from a paste or a CSV, then let you copy the report for a broker or a buyer.
