Free for 3 CAS · EU file

Check a list of CAS numbers against the REACH file

Paste one CAS per line, or choose a CSV. You get the row this file stores, or a miss. A miss is not a clearance.

One CAS at a time, with the same file, is on the REACH SVHC and Annex XIV lookup. The current lists are on ECHA. An Australian snapshot of the same kind of paste is on the AICIS CAS list.

First 3 CAS numbers run free. Pro runs up to 50 and copies the report.

One CAS per line. If the first row starts with CAS, the first column is used. Files over 1 MB are refused. Subscribe to run the longer list and copy the report.

Ready.

Paid plans · from USD 59 a month

Paste up to 50 CAS numbers from a formula sheet and copy one report. The same plan includes the single-CAS lookup, the sanctions screen, and the China duty list. This page still does not assign a hazard class.

What a line means

A hit means that CAS is stored on a Candidate List row, an Annex XIV row, or both. The name and the date are copied from the row. The file does not store a hazard class, and it does not say the substance is banned.

The report names the snapshot dates stored in the file. Those dates are not today's ECHA publication. Confirm a hit or a miss on the Candidate List and the Authorisation List.

Frequently asked

Is a miss a clearance?

No. The Candidate List rows in this file are a snapshot, not the live ECHA count. A CAS that is absent here can still be on the current Candidate List. Open the ECHA table before you tell a customer the substance is clear.

Does this page give a hazard class?

No. The file stores a name, a CAS, and a date. It does not store a hazard class. SVHC inclusion and Annex XIV authorisation are different lists, and both are shown when the same CAS is on both.

Why can I only run three CAS numbers?

Three CAS numbers are free, so you can see the report before you pay. Paid plans start at USD 59 a month and run up to 50 from a paste or a CSV, then let you copy the report.
